Joe Habib
President and Chief Executive Director

As Executive Director since May 2014, Joe has provided leadership in maintaining program integrity, achieving financial stability, presenting a balanced budget, and leading the Board of Directors and staff in developing a long term strategic plan for St. Paul's. He has established himself as a leader in advocating for liaison work between community based mental health centers, hospitals and jails in Lucas County and has been instrumental in establishing collaborative efforts with other not-for-profit agencies dealing with homelessness issues in the Toledo area.

Joe is a graduate of the Ohio State University (Masters in Social Work), the University of Toledo (Bachelors in Psychology and Master in Business Administration). As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Endorsement and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, he has over twenty years of experience in advising and counselling. His breadth of experience prior to coming to St. Paul's includes serving as Director of Mental Health Services for Correctional Medical Services, leading the overall operations of the mental health department within the Toledo Correctional Institution. Joe has also worked in the mental health profession at several area organizations, including Zepf Center and Rescue Mental Health.
